From what I've read, it seems about right. The caveat I'd put on it is, if you go out into real gold field conditions where the ground is mineralised, you'll only get half that depth or even a bit less if the ground is bad.

An aspect that is curious to me are the settings chosen for sensitivity/gain on the two units. It looks like the tester tried to approximate the same relative gain between the two, but that might be tough to do as an approximation. Hey, good for us if its correct!
