Ising FX-1 probe on F75 help.

I took out my F75 with my new FX-1 probe. I had it it FA processing and had problems pinpointing. Do i need to change it to another program when I use the Fx-1? I think the recovery is so fast the little probe recovers too quick. Any ideas will be appreciated.

I know some people like to pinpoint in disc, so the best I could tell you is to try another mode if you are going to use disc to PP.

Now in the manual it talks about pinpoint by using the trigger and switching to all metal non motion. So if you can get to the trigger and pull it you may have better luck pin pointing. Use the trigger just like you would if you were using the big coil to PP. By doing that you wouldn't have to switch modes every time you go to PP.

Just a few thoughts,

Sounds good. I did not think about hitting pinpoint. I assume it is in all metal mode when you PP. I was getting frustrated that it was not sounding ring in FA mode.

From my own experiences I found trying to pp in all metal mode is a lot more difficult than pp in disc mode, what seems to happen is in all metal mode there is a lot more distractions going on under the coil and you can get pulled off your primary target a lot easier. Also, after you get use to your machine and coil it gets more accurate, when I first started hunting this pp thing was my biggest problem, now it's easy for me and most of the time I'm pretty close to the target.
