That, if we disagree with or don't like a particular posting, we'd be better off not saying anything at all. Maybe their right? None the less, I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion even if it doesn't blend with the majority. With that in mind, the time has come for me to consider going elsewhere to share my thoughts and or desires about our hobby and or Christian values. Originally I came because I enjoy the hobby of metal detecting and wanted to share my desire with those of Christian values. Since then, I have begun posting a daily Bible lesson and have hoped that the message would touch someone's heart that doesn't know Jesus, as Lord & Savior of their life. I don't know if that has happened and may not know what the outcome of my efforts has been until I get to heaven. We all have off-days and certainly I'm no exception in that respect, yet I find a certain animosity here that shouldn't be among Christian brothers and sisters. God knows I've made my share of mistakes and hopefully I've learned from them yet there are some here who don't want us to forget how we've messed up. All in all, I think you're a fine bunch of individuals but there are some that pop in and out, from time to time, that make this forum a lot less than enjoyable. I'm not sure I wish to continue. What's your thoughts?

Personally, I would hate to see anyone leave this site for any reason. We are a family no matter what. Family will always have their disagreements and conflicts. Those things need to be worked out between the individuals involved and not put on display. Being a newbie to this site I do not know the past history of any problems, nor do I feel like I need to know about any. I just wish everyone involved would take a minute and Pray.
Those are my thoughts.

You are oh so right. No one has to read anyones post, and certainly if they do and don't like it. And lastly if they don't like it, they don't have to express their thoughts in a hurtful way. Keep on posting those Bible lessons, you never know what seeds are being planted.

Personally I like the bible lessons. I don't read daily but I do read. Some times It does make the difference.

People do move from one church to another because the fit is no longer there. Maybe they are called by God, maybe they were hurt by another person.

If I never run across your posts again, good luck and God Bless.

Jeff

post too much of my own problems and tend to reveal too much but how can we pray for one another the right way, unless we know what is going on in the other persons' lives? I was raised to never lie and to me revealing what my life is like is not lying but it is revealing more than I should too often, especially about my finds when I did detect, as there are too many lurkers who could find out easily where someone lives with the intention of breaking in and stealing what others have worked hard for by their jobs or detecting.

Please Bro. Martin continue on with your posts of serving our Lord and telling others about Jesus, as like Mike says, Never know when you have planted a gospel seed in someone, who will be watered by someone else! I need to do so much in my home to get ready for selling and, hopefully, an auction before the depletion of my financial status, which is depleting too fast, but Praise God that He has kept me in my home since my ex left me in 1986 and we divorced in 1988 I had no job, was very emotionally distressed with deep depression, physically ill and 'twas a rough time but made it through with Jesus! Satan used the weakest areas of my hurts and uses them to turn me away from seeing Jesus for a little while, but I turn back quickly unto the only One True God, Who loves me and the only Savior Who saved me and takes care of me as the Child of God my Heavenly Father from Whom all blessings flow! One thing for sure is we must not give up on God and go with the world as we are in the world but not of it, although we might act like it sometimes when the hurts and griefs come but with Jesus we can and do endure and overcome all things!

I know many won't read this nor answer but it helps my soul, mind and strength to write what is happening in my life and/or bothering me! I don't always read the Scriptures because of my eyes but please keep posting them Martin because I don't know how long I will be on here or in this world to keep posting about the Gospel of Jesus, myself! Amen! Sister Ma Betty
