Hit a lake in Vernon, B.C., yesterday. Donned the dry suit and gloves and headed out. I got the usual coinage and when this sounded, it had an almost overload signature to it... Probably a piece of a beer can or some such.
Anyway, this beauty turned up.
36 diamonds [all real, but small] set in a 10k honker. Even coming out of the lake, it glittered like mad.

As far as cold goes. We're frozen in here Boston too.
Only areas left now are the low tide flats. In Boston you need to be carfull. 350 years of pollution. You might turn several funny colors and start glowing.!!!

Question to bda: With all the history down there do you ever find Colonial stuff??? PEACE:RONB
On pollution. they've cleaned it up a ot but I still won't look good purple, yellow, green etc.. Me and my partners just got permision to hunt a site from "early" 1700's. 87 acres of unsearched Colonial farmand just plowed. Only one word for it. SWEEEEET.!!!!!!
Also when things thaw out here there is a local very old beach thats been sripped down to bare clay by the winds.Still hard as cement though.I'm dying over it.We usually find musket balls, Colonial buttons coins and some "good" jewelry. The beach dates to 1600's and is part f the origial Boston shore line as well. I'm lucky to be surrounded by history here. I wonder: Do any of you guys in Florida, Bahama's, or Gulf Coast "ever" find Colonial items or do you just keep it uner wraps so to speek????? Not to pry. Love to the pics.
