IT IS GREAT TO FIND A CHRISTIAN GROUP OUT HERE!

It pleases me greatly to find this group!

I'm not totally new to MDing, I got my first detector back in the 80's but left it for about 30 years. Now that I'm retired and have the chance to do some things I really want to do, I got back into MDing.

I recently purchased the Minelab X-Terra 70 and am beginning to settle down with it's settings and operations. WOW, what a difference 30 years makes in technology! My first outing, in my yard, resulted in finding 2 cars one of which was full of money. Matchbox cars won't hold much money, one clad quarter.

I'm looking forward to communicating with the group and maybe meeting some of you as we travel in the coming years.

Welcome Mark! We are happy to have you posting with us as a bro in Christ! Looking forward to your posts and pics of your finds! We have a nice group of bros and sisters on this forum and anytime you need prayer......just request it and we will pray!

Stay well and safe and Happy Hunting....I too started :detecting: in the 80's but just not able to do much of it now because of older age and health reasons! I am posting some of my past finds and hope you will post your finds also! Nice to see what others find! :)

God Bless!

Steve,
What part of AZ are you in? I retired in 1999, moved to Sedona to drive tour Jeep in 2000 and then up to Montana in September 2000. Now we are planning to Snowbird it in the winters because of my health and am looking for some good places to stay and enjoy.

Know u will enjoy it here. I have a cousin who lives in MT, in Florence. They have been in Montana a long time. Hope u enjoy it here

I really like it! After 30 years away from detecting I had some challenges getting started with the new technology but after a very short time and a lot of reading on the X-terra forum things fell together very nicely and I feel confident but not competent with an exceedingly fine machine. The gentleman I purchased mine through in Idaho offers training trips, one to Nevada and another to Oregon. He also guides trips to Alaska for Gold nugget hunting and to England for artifact hunting.
