It is rather quiet, hunting and finds wise.

Not many finds, it seems, getting reported of late. Un-fortunately, I have nothing good to report for the past few days, either. Actually haven't been able to get out all that much since I hit the silver and Buffalo nickel towards the weekend and so far this week, we are dealing with a good bit of rain, then a nice cold front hitting us this afternoon for a couple of days. I did get in a couple of brief modern park hunts that ended up yielding $4.00 + in clad and a couple pieces of junk jewelry. That was actually with the Omega, as I haven't been using it quite as much of late and wanted to stay acquainted with it. I did just acquire the Garrett Pro pin pointer, so do have something new to play with a little. I have never really felt the need for one as I like to carry as little as possible, when afield. I know a lot of you swear by pin pointers and know there have been some times when one would have come in handy, so will carry it and give it a good try. O. K., enough babbling. HH jim tn

This is the calm before the storm.

Everybody is getting new Garrett Pro pin pointers including myself and finding their wedding ring on their left hand:) Others are shinning their coils, going over all their equipment and watching out the window. Hang on we got about another month of winter.

Well guys, I'm setting here looking at the puter, so obviously, can't hunt either. Although I did get in 30 minutes or so this morning before the sky opened its floodgates and got 11 cents. We is gettin the rain...although certainly better then what you all are getting and is on the ground. You know its bad when one spends a couple of hours going through the whatzits can. And to make matters worse, about 200 whatzits are still just that. Oh well! HH jim tn

jim!..a "found" whatzit is STILL better than an "unfound" whatzit!
damn snow!..a little around xmas, and then keep it all up north in "ski" country!
