Thank you very much Trevor for listenting to customers in putting out this new coil, I give you great credit in appreciation! I am sure it will be a big seller.

Our moderator Randy's(Digger) report on the new X-Terra WOT coil, thanks Randy!:
http://www.coiltekmanufacturing.com.au/xterra-test-results.html

On Randy's chart the new WOT is much deeper on coin sized objects than the Minelab coils, also giving better coverage, but the WOT responds better to a slower sweep speed than the other Minelab coils, but overall I think the WOT will cover much more ground at much more depth on coin sized and bigger. But I would like to know how much deeper the WOT is on larger than coin sized objects(+silver $1), like about beer can size.? I guess I may have to test it myself.

On the other hand on smaller than coin sized objects(about -1/4") at extreme depth, the smaller Minelab coils may go a bit deeper than the WOT. With a US dime on slight edge(probably at extreme depth), Randy was able to hear it with the 10.5" DD and not the WOT. But he found several targets with the WOT that both the 10.5" DD or the 9" CC could not detect.

It will be great at the beach but bring along a second person to dig deep!

The New Coiltek Xterra 7.5 15 inch coil, made through a collaborative effort with Minelab, will be available the first weeks of August from any Minelab dealer. If your Minelab dealer does not know about this coil please have them contact me, as I am the exclusive distributor for the U.S. and I will be happy to set them up.

The Retail on this coil in the U.S. is $329. plus s&h.

Thanks!
