It seems to change?

The Holy Bible That is. Not that the scriptures actually change. They don't. They are always the same. The same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. But it seems to me that every time you read something in it, you see something new. Something you never saw before. It's like its perpetual, even though it never changes. Do you think that's why we call it the living bible sometimes? I know I have read Psalms, for instance, when I needed answers about something going on in my life, and found my answer, my comfort. Then someone asks for prayer, and you search Psalms again, the same scripture, and it is miraculously tailored to that person. Have you ever experienced that?

Thats why we are to search the scriptures daily.
We know the Lord speaks to us throgh his word.
Our God is a awesome God, and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Maybe it's like experience in detecting where a year or so later we have learned our machine better, improved our research & developed our digging techniques. Then when we go back to the same places we have detected we find more :) Steve in so az

the more we learn! :)

Neat thread, Ronbo. I've never thought of it, but you are right. I suppose that is one of the reasons we love to study the word. It can and SHOULD be interesting, exciting and rewarding!
