Took me 2 years to track down the owner of a 1975 High School class ring , but following in the footsteps of the great Sherlock ( aka Vernon 
), I finally found her!
Took a ride with Hank this morning to return the ring to its rightful owner;
she was ecstatic to have it returned, and it made me feel good to return it to her; she had lost it in 1974 as a High School Junior while romping with her dog in the ocean...35 years later here it is back on her finger...fit just perfectly!
I made a new friend ; and also returned home with a tasty baked treat...very thoughtful of this kind person.
Her class reunion is scheduled for this coming October; I am invited to the dinner...niiiiiiiiice!
