I have been working this real trashy park the last 3 outings. It is a heavily used park. So coins are being put back like every day for me to find the next day. Lots of cooking out and ball games going with a number of ball fields, shady trees. As I watch the numbers coming up for pull tabs, bottle caps and coins. I start to dig coin numbers a little tighter and miss much of the trash. Mud calls it coin stabbing. I love detecting this way. It fits me just perfect. The little heart ring is a 925. The other jewelry is the kind of things my grand kids like to take home. I owe it to our kids to have their kids take that stuff home with them. :bouncy: F70 Settings: Sens@60, Disc@23, Thresh@-3, Tones 3H with the 6.5" coil.
Thanks for looking....Happy Trails....Z

Thats a beauty hunt there! Weve all gotten a lot of great ideas, settings and finds with Zeeks help! :clapping:
I like those kind of parks..where you can go and tell what happened the day before by the drops people leave.

Thanks for the kind replies guys...
I put my posts on because the new guys see all that silver, jewelry and some really great different finds that jim tn, Lakota, Mud, Elgin Tim and a few others seem to get almost every week. I can see how they might get a little disgusted finding a few clad coins and not much else.
But when they see posts from a guy like me who is near the age of a 100' sequoia tree with no hip on the left side and can't even bend down to tie his shoe. With the physical health of a wino who has been living on the street for the past 25 years. I also live in a city with 600,000 people so the parks/schools/beaches are all hunted out. By god I give them hope! Enough goofyness!!
Coilfisher I started numbering my hunts in 2009 when I wondered how many times a year I would go out hunting. I just mark the hunt number on the calendar for that day. I did 193 hunts last year and found over 7,000 coins.
Thanks for reading....Happy Trails......Z
