It's all Greek to me ....

One of my customers brought in this coin to show me. He found it almost 40 years ago on a Northeastern USA beach. To me it appears to be a Greek bronze coin. It's about 3/16" thick and oblong shape of 1 3/8" X 1 1/2". Can any of you ID it and perhaps determine it's age. My customer thinks it may be pre-Christian about 225 - 200 BC.

Hey There D.C.,

I resemble that picture.

The hair is gray and the glasses are missing, but that's definitely a Minelab Explorer II arm.

Hello Again D.C.,

School's finally over for the year, so I hope to get in some serious detecting.

It's been raining here so much that several guys in the neighborhood
have started building Arks. I hope it doesn't come to that.

It's great to read your amusing posts.

Respectfully,

The Nutty Teacher
