Its been just about 2 months to the day...Sherry is feeling worse - not better

I have worked a lot of hours lately and have not been here with/for her. She feels she isn't 'helping' so she forces herself to do things. She feels bad that not only do I have to be away from her for long hours and come home tired then have to do dishes, laundry, etc. I was taken aback when she asked me if I had a lover at work. That is definitely a NO. Only mistress I have there is work and she is trying her best to kill me with so much to do...wish I had time to explain all that but there is definitely no other woman in my life and I don't want one...I have for me the BEST WOMAN GOD HAS GIVEN ME and I am thankful to God for such a wonderful gift.

I don't mind doing things extra around the house as that is what mates do when one is not feeling well...though I would like a chance to sit, have a cup of coffee and talking to my wife before more things are tossed on an already strained brain and body.

Back to Sherry. She has indicated (she has a daily blog) that she is losing hope in every getting back to a normal life. Please help lift her up in spirit and prayer. Thanks everyone for your prayers for Sherry (and me as well and for Casey and Josh).

Oh BTW the neighbor across the street had a team of 4 guys shovelling off his roof - I am sure he paid the $200 to have this done. Josh called about a half hour later asking about doing his roof.

Isn't there a saying 'Those who snooze - lose'? He did swing by yesterday to borrow the roof rake...hope he doesn't lose it like he did my car jack....another story I won't go into.

I'm not bragging but I help Barb daily with the dishes, laundry, making beds, house cleaning and any other thing that needs done. Last spring she had a "frozen shoulder" and was limited to what she was allowed to do and I stepped in to help with everything and do that which she was restricted from doing..
For those who may have negative thoughts, it has brought our relationship much closer together as we worked together and talked to each other on a more intimate basis as we worked together, we opened up to each other and continued to grow as friends and as a couple. The end result was an overall better marriage and a stronger future together in our later years.

Life is tough enough without losing our helpmate because of our pride or stubbornness.

I'm sure I have tweaked some of our gentlemen here by my comments. I am speaking ONLY from my experience and not giving advice to anyone.

Prayers for Sherry to be lifted up in Spirit and for the Healing Touch of Jesus to move upon her from her head to the soles of her feet and give her a miracle healing and for you also, Pete! God Bless you both, for it seems we Christians are attacked with sickness so we'll give up on our Lord and go with satan, but I never will do that because I know Who my Savior is and Who loves me and I'm sure you and Sherry feel the same! Although we do get discouraged at times from the hurting and pain, we still must keep our faith in Jesus, the Lord and Savior of our life, Who is our All in all and Who will never leave or forsake us! Praise God that we have Him to go to in prayer and by crying out to Him for help, Jesus will help us to endure and overcome all things! Just don't give up and keep on being faithful to our One and Only God, Jehovah Jireh, our Provider!
