I opened my gift from Waterdog tonight. The other day my detecting friend shook it and shook it and she said she thought it might be a rain jacket or poncho lol. She was as curious as I was as to what was in the box. I thought it might be a book of some kind and I was right.
I opened it and it was this GREAT big thick book. I mean like really thick and heavy. The name of the book is Design and Manufacturing Flexibility Third Edition by Derek Galarza. I mean this sucker is so thick it must contain 10,000 pages or more. Now me, I'm a retired telephone operator for the deaf and don't know much about Design and Manufacturing but I bet by the time I finish wading through this huge manual, I may just well be an expert at it. At least I know I'll be FLEXable. It's just that I have no earthly idea what in the world it is that Waterdog expects me to be designing and manufacturing but I'm sure I'll come up with some idea.
OKAY folks, I'm kidding here. The gift that looks like this book I just described is really a very neat book lock box to keep your valuables hidden in. I was so surprised when I opened it and thought what a very neat gift idea for a treasure hunter. It honestly looks exactly like some of my hubby's big ole work manuals he has to study sometimes but it is metal and hollow inside and it locks with a code. I love it. I haven't decided yet. I'm either going to put some of my coins, metal detecting finds etc in it or I'm going to put one of my guns in it and store it in my bedroom. I guess I shouldn't tell the whole world, I'm going to hide my pistol in there but I don't guess any of you all are going to come break into my house now are you??
Thank you WATERDOG..... It was a GREAT gift and both myself and my hubby really enjoyed playing with it this evening and I'm sure it's going to be very useful. theresa
