MY new explorer II is here, I haven't been this excited since I started in this great hobby.:clapping: Its too bad its 26 degrees outside and threatening snow. I guess I'll throw the video in the player and check it out. I'll start charging the batteries and fill the Alkaline battery holder and throw it on the bench and play with it a little.:spin:
I'll keep my fingers crossed for a little winter warm up.:detecting:
Happy Thanksgivng to all and God Bless

good for you 26 degrees has never stoped me before ,learn to program the ex thats the key alot of people on the forum hunt in iron mask thinking there getting more depth learn the tones . I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT adjust your gain learn a good sweep speed youll love it had an ex for years had one of the first that came out -16 youll dig and dig and dig , thats if you want iron use it to find old structrues then switch to more discrimination, its not an xlt or dfx the ex runs on different circutry alot of people think that the less discrimination you have the deeper you go thats totaly incorrect with the ex.use ir mask for location of old home sites. then switch over . maybe im wrong but ive got quite a collection of cs buckles bullets and coins also dosent hurt to have a wot coil. im sure ive stured alot of - 16 sweppers up and would disagree but my house has alot of non iron .

thats great. youll have a nice time learning the explorer. when the weather is cold i'll go to wooded areas where the ground is still soft under the leaves. old parks that have tree lines and the such. i like using the 5 or 8 inch sunray coils for that. the 5 inch will really teach you pinpointing alot faster.
good luck and happy hunting,
