It's Nice To Be Back Home Again!

What is it about the Fisher "F" series forum? I guess I could not stand it any more and had to come back home to where the fun is. Love the fact that there is nobody here trying to sell you something where they have a dog in the hunt or fellas about to blow a head gasket over trivial issues. It's just great camaraderie, great information and great machines here. After a brief stay with brand "x", I just could not get the hang of the Scottish version of the pied piper.

A very dear friend of mine gave me a great deal on a T2SE. The only problem was in the past, I always wound up finding good stuff after dark. So, I sold the T2 to get another F75. It is basically the same maching but I really love having the F75 back in my hands again and cannot wait 'till the weather breaks for Fall. First Texas really got it right with the F75 and basically all of the "F" series units. Anyway, you can really tell the class here and love reading all of your posts. Needless to say that I'm here to stay and will be sending a few of my own in the near future....

The F75 series is one of the best detectors out there in my opinion. Ease of use, light weight, deep, variety of coils, and proved results says it all.
......................... Yes I like one other name brand detector for specialty hunting. But for everyday, 1 hour, or 8 hours of hunting the F75 is the detector of my choice.

You also know from our conversations I am a BIG fan of the T2. That said I feel the F75 with the lighted backscreen has it's advantages in many conditions. So that gives it a higher rating with me.

There is really only a couple reasons someone would not be successful with the F75 Series.. They either for one reason or another do not like the detector..or they have not learned how to use it properly..

I have never felt like I didn't have one of the best detectors in my hand when out detecting with friends who use other brands of detectors.. The F75 will keep up, and many times excel over other detectors in the field..

Enjoy Rob, and again "WELCOME HOME" ........ we missed you....

PS: Rob I agree we have some of the finest people in the hobby on this forum ........... Real people who help and encourage everyone who joins this great hobby............and if I may say so Sir..You are one of those fine people.

Good to see and have you back. I get the urge to try something new every once in a while, usually after a few days of a silver dry spell, then reality checks in and my LTD sniffs out another good find or two. You and everyone else here are right. The F's are tough to beat for all around detecting. HH jim tn
