lately I have done some real stupid things..nothing I want to repeat and nothing I am proud of at all.
Mt 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Mt 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Mt 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Forgive me God, in Jesus name.
I told God that I want to stop doing STUPID things - I want to focus on doing one thing and ask for His blessing and help to do that.
My eyes have been on worldly things - not Godly things and I needed to focus...get back on track...repent..and praise and worship the Lord.
My request for focusing is on music to worship Him through and with. This Sunday I will be playing the Q-Chord at church.

Never done that before - ever. Sherry will be playing her electronic keyboard (piano). For her, it is a blessing to have been asked and it is her talent and love of music that probably got me going in this direction. (She has a bachelors in music). The Pastor asked Sherry to also have me play my Q thingy Sunday as well.
So for her, this is maybe a 'no sweat...been there...done that' type of thing but for me - well I might sing in church on Sunday but playing an instrument...one that few people have ever seen let alone heard - has me a bit nervous.
I have been practicing...alot and Sherry sees such great improvement. Still I am nervous. I just pray that the music I play is a blessing to others and more importantly is a sweet sweet sound in God's ear.
Would appreciate your prayers to help me keep my eyes off worldly things I do not need to be a part of but instead keep my eyes on the Lord and on focusing on the music for praise and worship of God. Thanks Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
