I really get a charge out of reading and looking at your posts every Monday or Tuesday following your weekend hunts. It is better reading than most magazines and I for one appreciate you guys taking your time to share with everyone. I have been hunting for about 13 years and yesterday was only my third time finding three different dimes. I bought my first Explorer a year or so after they came out and my first three different dime day is still fresh in my memory. I arrived at the oldest town square around my neck of the woods and it was still dark. I went straight for the gazebo and within ten feet of it I found a silver dime that I couldn't completely make out in the dark. Less than ten feet away from the spot I found the first dime, I found another one. It wasn't until a half hour later when it got lighter that I found the first dime was a seated and the second a barber. Later in the morning I found a mercury dime to make my first trifecta. I was as close to having a four different dime day as I probably ever will be. Getting four different makes of the same coin is extremely hard especially if you are not in an old part of the country. I am making a New Years resolution to learn to post pictures on the computer(I am a block head when it comes to a computer) Pictures and great story makes for some great entertainment. Keep your posts coming! R.L.
