Jan Fl. finds

Well i rarely post my finds, but since i was in the middle of Fl in the sun and my friends up North can hunt i thought i would post some of my Jan finds. Ive been hunting a couple of beachs, a park, and an old ball field where the Bade played ball around Avon Park. My friend Gil that i occassionally hunt with here says everyone has hunted these spots. They are trashy, but not totally hunted out as you can see. I was hunting with the 10 X 12 and the areas are pretty trashy from tabs, crown caps, and can slaw. A smaller coil might have gotten me more silver. The old ball park has packed red sand down to about 6 or 8 inches so id say the real good stuff is well below that. I managed 7 silver... two surprised me and were Barbers and i thru in the NEW lincoln pennies just because i doubt many have found any of these since the Ment has been slow to release them to banks. I found one silver and one gold ring... the gold one appears pretty old, a Girl Scout pin, a charm, an earring that i think is a CZ because you cant scrach it with a knife, one old president token worth about $15 or Grover Cleveland that i couldnt find out who produced them, one Gloria Swanson coin for a silent move called Madam Sams Gene circa 1925. I didnt post my wheats or my clad didnt think you would be interested in that, but i did find some early 1912, 17, 25 and such. Im hopeing to move over to the beach below the Cape sometime mid-Feb and maybe my finds will improve. Anyone on here close to Coco Beach? My digital camera isnt the greatest so i used a magnifying glass... dont think it came out too bad.

Good going Dew ......Real nice ... Thanks for sharing ...

Very nice haul. Man I live for hunts that produce that much silver.

Anymore i get more impressed with the odd finds than the silver. I didnt really think this was much silver for a month. Also i have been somewhat restricted to a few locations.... i just dont know the area that well. Avon Park isnt really that old of a town. Thats why i was surprised to see the Barbers. Especially on the local beach that doesnt appear to be used that much. These coins on the beach were deep in the sand at least 11 inches. My partner couldnt even hear them with his detector. Thanks everyone.
