Jeweler's report

steve in so la

Took 2 dug items to the jeweler today to see what they were made of. The 925 bracelet has gold colored designs around it. They said they could be gold but usually it is stamped 14K inside indicating it.
The gold ring has a blue Topaz stone ( much prettier than my pic )and the 6 small stones around it are not diamonds. Oh well, had to find out, only cost me my time. Steve in so az

Here's a chart I got that might help. I bought a ring for my wife in Maui and jeweler said it was 18K, but the stamp inside was 750. Good info to know: http://www.goldcalculator.com/index_files/page0032.htm

Karat System - Percentage of Gold - European System
24 karat 100% 1000 fine
22 karat 91.7% 917 fine
18 karat 75.0% 750 fine
14 karat 58.3% 583 fine
10 karat 41.6% 416 fine

So Steve, yours looks to be between 22K and 23K if it's 925.

Take care, and God bless!
Ken
