Well, here's how the dilemna with the rings marked 14KF^ turned out. They were the real deal! The 14K, of course, shows the gold content. The "F" and "^" turned out to be Friedman's and their hallmark. Once I get the technique of the camera and the magnifying glass down I will send pics-but I thought someone might want to know.
