Today, I went back near the spot I found the ring & pocket watch. After an hour and a half, and nothing to show, I went where only a dedicated detectorist (or desperate) would go....right into one of the thickest and thorniest areas there:biggrin:
Well, years ago,someone must have decided they didn't like their jewelry anymore because I found all this in about 10 - 15 minutes.

two rings, two bracelets, a watch, a necklace and a couple pins. The bad news is it was almost all junk.
The good news is one of the bracelets is silver:thumbup:

I also found a penny today. Didn't notice till I got home that it was an IH.
