Jewelry numbers

Since ive moved to Florida im doing a little water hunting with the Xcal. I scored a ring today that i believe is stainless steal. I ran it across the SE and it reads a constant 12 01 .... a number i normally wouldnt dig in say a park. Then someone sent me a chart of some of the jewelry hes found and what they read on the Explorer. I thought the numbers were interesting for anyone wanting to find jewelry they might help.

Thanks Dew.

I better start digging more of those 11-01 to 11-04 signals ...

Thanks for the numbers chart. I have found a few titanium rings in the water and they sound like gold but as soon as you pick them up you know they are not gold. Sometimes the word titanium is etched inside them faintly. Good luck on the beach! HH

Ive found several titaniums so ive got a pretty good idea what they look like even without the marking. Pretty sure this is SS. Plus most hit a little higher than this. Does show you that jewelry is all over the place.

Considering jewelry comes in from low foil to Zinc penny depending gold -silver and what its mixed with actually a crapshoot rel numbers but on a beach run disc low and dig all..

PS: to further make it more difficult them tiny gold items just might be indicated in the ferrous region...

Nice chart and thanks for sharing....
