The one on the right seems to have had a pin to hook to clothing? The other, I have not the slightest clue as to what it could be. Any ideas? Thank you. - Jim
 
The first one is the backing for a religious medal (clamshell style with etched in sunrays), and the second one is an old broach.

Well that sure is old looks too be a pin or something too wear on clothes :thumbup:
