Wanting to know if anyone uses it.I ordered one and wanted to know how hot I can run it or do I have to run it hot on the explorer,I run in Iron -14
Thanks,

When in a lot of trash, this coil works great. I have used this coil a lot and at one particular Fairgrounds, it netted me over 50+ Silver. I even tried the Stock Coil after using this coil thinking that there was deeper, hidden Silver but I didn't come across another one after using the Joey Coil. If I'm not using my Stock Coil, I'm using my Joey Coil since I know how well it does in the field. As far as how hot to run it, it is going to depend on trash content and Iron content and what kind of other mineralization you have in the ground at the site you are at. I run mine at 22 Semi-Auto with Fast On. I hope you have as good of luck as I do with my Joey Coil and Good Luck and HH.

There is 3 coils I use and find they work the best. The Joey for most hunting, the X12 of Sun Rays if I want coverage and the 5 inch coil for the real trashy areas. I find the Joey has good depth for me, separates well and just feels so good on the end of the shaft. I have seen some great finds found with the Joey the stock coil missed as it was too trashy.
I am sure you will like it too and remember it is not waterproof so don't use it in water.
