John, you know their has! to be some 1800's silver up in you neck of the woods. Or have the Canadian geese been dropping them over here in Massachusetts.
ATTENTION I did not find these with my Garrett GTAx-1250. But since I own and love my Garrett I figured it would be ok to post in here.
Well the weather was great today(for now),I broke out my Sovereign GT and I went to one of my favorite spots that is so huge no amount of detectorists could put a dent in it.
I got a really corroded Massachusetts 1/2 cent. As soon as I saw the faint image of the Indian with the arrows in his right hand I think. I also got an 1886 Canadian dime. Also saved was a buffalo nickle date unknown, a 1903 V nickle, a 1919 wheatie, and three IH pennies 1888,1895, and 1893. plus a broken old coat button and a bullet. If this was my last hunt due to the winter coming I would be happy with the finds. I just have to get into the Nor Easter storms that will be hitting the beaches this winter so I can save some poor Spanish coinage.
Take care guys and gals
