Might as well since I know most of them anyway from the beach. Nice bunch of people. For those of you who remember Kathy, I saw her there (she's the secretary). She said to say, "hello". 
I showed her that ring I found and I told her it had a maker's mark but no carat stamp. It had some kind of of small pictures like hieroglyphics. Kathy took one look at it under the loop and immediately said, "it's 18K". I said, "wait a second!, I didn't see a mark in there!!!". She pointed out one of the marks and said that it's actually 18K in arabic. Go figure That's two 18K piece in two days.... talk about unusual. Don't see much 18K. We tried to test the diamonds but I'm not sure if it was working or not. I'll take both pieces to my friend's jewelry store this weekend. Missed out on the ring being the gold find of the month by 2 grams Mine weighed over 10 grams. 18K at today's gold prices makes it worth over $200. (although my wife's gonna wear this one) Can't wait for the hot weather
