Joy

Leslie(nova scotia)

Well-known member
2400 seconds of joy

The rain it did stop
The sun did not pop
I did not eat green eggs and ham.

Out came my machine
I stepped in a latrine
I did not curse nor really give a dam.

Button came out of the ground
Toasty, dirty and totally round.
I would not ware it as it did not match.

Shinny like a gold
Liar to those he told.
I would not display it not in this batch.

Coins that were Canuck
The Garrett amok.
I was leaning, limping wounded and sore

2400 seconds dug
Now a human slug.
I took this message, did not swing no more.

My children really enjoyed DR. Suez books! Tami liked Green Eggs & Ham. Sam I Am & The fly Went By--these, I read to her over & over, again, as I was potty training her! Nothing wrong nor harmful about these books nor many others that young children enjoyed hearing & reading & me, too! I hope you & Hunny Bun are doing well! God Bless you both! Ma

Green Eggs. When we went to sea on those submarines there was limited space to store items in the refer. So eggs did not get refrigerated. They were dipped in a solution that sealed the shell so that no oxygen could penetrate. No oxygen then they would not rot. BUT the yolks would get a green hue to them. The stew burner would serve them as long as the yolk would stand up when he broke them on the griddle. When they would no longer stand up we switched to powdered eggs. Yes i have eaten my share of green eggs and ham.
