Just a couple of V's...

Finally got a little rain down here in South Texas and decided to use my newly aquired Fisher F-75 at the city park. Went out for about 1.5 hours today and dug up 2 Liberty head V nickels (1900 & 1910) and a 1950 wheatie. The coins were only about 4-5" deep. This part of the park is between our small City airport and Frair Ag building. Just looking at it one would never think that there had ever been anything there...but I've found junk and wheaties there in the past. BTW...this is the same area that I found one of my...first of 3...Silver dollars many years ago. I now call it my "secret spot". I know there are some silver coins waiting to see the light of day lost there.

The F-75 sure works well in between all the trash. This was the 2nd time I've used it.
