I was hoping for a better weekend for finds but didn't really get out of the area until Sunday. Sunday was the only time I started looking for possible sites to hunt. Next weekend I hope to get out more than I did this last time and I hope the luck is better also. I found 6 Silver this time. They are 1 Barber Quarter dated 1895-O which is badly worn, 1 Barber Dime dated 1913, 2 Mercury Dimes dated 1918 and 1941, and 2 Roosevelt Dimes dated 1947 and 1962-d. I found 1 Indian Head dated 1906 which was in tough shape. Something was encrusted on it so I tried using Electrolysis on it and got a lot of it off the surface of the coin. Too bad it looks like a new coin now due to having to use a brass brush on it. It was the only way to get the crud off. I found another 18 Wheats also and they are dated 1914,1917,1919,1920,1926-d,1935-d,1936,1941,1941-s,(2)1944-d,1946-d,1949-d,1949-s,1950-d,1952-d,1955, and 1958-d. Hope you all have some luck during the week if you are able to get out and HH. And thanks again Rick(ND) for finding me the Electrolysis Unit and it works great.
