Just a heads up warning on saltwater use!!!!

It’s come to my attention through YouTube that the coils can become damaged and the gold contacts corrode if not protected.
If they corrode your coil will not charge!
I heard Deus will not cover this damage so cover up the contacts and wash the coil after every use near saltwater!!!
I heard a lit candle with a lilttle melted wax on contacts works great then just scrape off or electrical tape..
I hunt the beaches all the time but will be getting a Equinox so I will use Deus mostly on dry land!

The reason gold contacts are used is so that they do not corrode.

If anyone uses any detector around salt water and does not clean it off after each use then no surprise that issues arise.

As long as you take care of the Deus - coil included - with some common sense care, you will not have any issues with the charging clips . . . personally putting melted wax on them is asking for more problems that cleaning it after exposure to salt water & sand would
