General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I have a 16 YR old in my neighborhood who has displayed a great interest in detecting.
My thought is to maybe buy a less expensive detector, let him try it out. He seems drawn to the Id screen on my F75LTD. "LETS SEE" he thinks it's "NEAT" LOL
Anyone have an older detector sitting around you want to sell.... nothing fancy..and I am not looking for "FREE" either.. LOL Just something he can work with and have a little fun on my dime.
If you have something, and it's priced where I feel comfortable, I am Interested.. No preference in type either.. just something that works. Id screen would be nice.
 
I have an Ace 250, that I got in a 2 for 1 trade. I don't have a use for it. I don't think it has the screen you are looking for though.
 
Great thought Elton. I wish I had something that worked for you. My 16 yr old son has no interest in MD'ing ( probably got that from his mother ) but I think it's a great option for a young man to spend some free time and stay out of trouble. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Some offers were mind blowing.. Thank you.I would never take advantage of anyone even though it's for a young man.. ( Not Mine Either LOL)
But your thoughts are wonderful.. Thank you guys, but you can sell your detectors for a lot more than you offered them to me. Like I said, I will pay the fair price..that is a comfortable figure I can afford.. I will not ..repeat will not take advantage of your kind generous offers on the great options I have been given. Again thank you...Your the best...I will find one thats priced right..and a price I feel is fair to both parties.. I even had a dealer who offered up a couple options at actual cost..Man thats awsome of him to offer, but this is a thought I had about buying a cheap used detector...I just didn't realize how many super nice people we had here on Findmall. I am not asking anyone to take a loss.. Your all awsome !!!
