Hi, All. I've been lurking on here for awhile now but thought I'd finally say hello. I don't have a picture yet to post but here are details on a few of my finds from my last two hunts. I started hunting my brother's yard (house was built in 1870). So far no silver but my brother says it was hunted already by a couple of guys 2 years ago. They may have gotten all the silver but I still got some goodies. Here's the list.

Hubley Texan Jr. cap pistol complete with only the grips pieces rotted away.
2 Tootsie Toys and 9 other Hotwheels.
1912, 1927, 1942 and 1946d Wheat cents
2 Chuck E. Cheese tokens
James Buchanan Presidential data token

And my oldest coin to date. An 1858 Flying Eagle cent (in very worn condition) But it is older than the Civil War so I'll take it :)

Those are some pretty good finds

Thanks all, I'm looking forward to hunting the other half of the yard. I get 4 to 5 iron hits on every swing so hopefully that iron is still hiding some silver.

Here are a few pictures. Wish me luck for hunting the second half of the yard. I forgot to mention the Moose head door knob(?) and what I think is a harmonica reed in the second photo. Thanks for looking.

Wishing you Good Luck and if you need any help let me know. Im sure theres some more good stuff just by looking at the great finds you got already.

Great finds. I'm sure there is still some silver left. No place is ever hunted out.

Hey you done good. Welcome to the best and friendliest Garrett forum on the net. Glad to have you aboard. Can't get over how this forum is growing. Will look forward to your success and pics of finds. Good luck. You didn't mention what you are swinging.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I have been reading this forum and learning since September. My finds up untiI now just haven't been all that great. I still have found only one silver dime so far, but that Flying Eagle cent really got the blood pumping.

I started with an ACE 250 and was hooked from day one. I now split my time between the ACE and a Minelab X-terra 70. Gotta tell 'ya, that Ace sure can hold it's own against the Minelab, but I do really like them both.
