since it will do much more than I understand, is there any online sited that will help a newbe with photography?? I understand point and shoot, which it does, but since it is a full featured camera I need more than that. <IMG SRC="/forums/images/frown.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":(">
 
all to view the camera. I looked at that line a while back when I was gettin' itchy for my S-1 to arrive. Glass lens is a plus. It's a bit much for the novice as you found out(I'm not slappin' you,hehehheheh). I'll look around on the net for a
novice/beginner photo page that can help you with your questions about getting started with basic photography.
 
found the aim and shoot got me some great pics. The movie making is easy and pretty sharp. I am in the process of getting some 64 meg smartmedia cards. I can get 20 medium level on a 16meg card. That camera is a nice one. I sold my spare cz20 to get the thing. Had too many <IMG SRC="/forums/images/wink.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=";)"> I am in deep doodoo if Mary finds out what I paid for the thing!! ;(

haven't had too much time with it....but got some good advice for beginners on this camera here:

Click on the scrolldown meny at the top ( page 1 intro )....where you will find some good stuff to start with on operation/image quality etc.
