Went back over to Rum Point this morning. No gold and Diamonds, but change is good too. I did get my first US dollar coin, I must have been gone awhile because I don't think I have seen one of these before. Posted my junk also. My junk pile used to be soooo much larger than it is today. To all the people just starting this hobby, it does require a certain level of patience and time before you start learning the sounds, as well as your machine. Tonight starts Pirates Week for us here in Grand Cayman. I will try to get some pics for all you pirates out there. On another note, I had my uncle pick up a older (oldest) Excal with the red headphones, extra new battery and charger, and a Big long scoop for $500us. I found it on craigslist, close to where he lives. I didn't think that was a bad deal at all. I figure I am getting $300 in accessories, which I had to buy anyway and the detector itself for $200. I am so stoked, I can't wait till I go to the states and pick it up. Thanks to Gulf Hunter and G. Edwards for your input on the excal's (old and new). Since I got this one so cheap, maybe I can talk the little lady to buy here a new one......you know, so we have a back up. I don't think she would mind. She seems to like the past few rings I have found. Ok, got some rum to drink, then maybe a little pillaging and raping to do.
Thanks for looking,
Chris
