Just dug my oldest penny

Just now dug this 1864 IH at a spot I've been many times before, but knew there were more relics. Tried a 10x12 SEF with my DFX this time.

It's got a lot of hard crusty minerals built up right in the center. Soaking in mineral oil. As far as how deep it was, this site has always been difficult. It was probably 4" deep in the center footprint of where an old house stood. The soil is so bad that using a beach mode works the best. Hard, black, packed sand. Previously found these interesting relics there.

Nice oldie .. congrats !!
