Seems like it’s a good one. It air tests alright with the emi in my house with a dime at just under 10 inches. I imagine it will do more if I’m outside. I found out that my Tesoro lower stems fit on the coils I have for the cz as well. So I think I’m going to run it hip mounted with the coil on my Tesoro lobo shaft. I was considering sending it off to get tuned but it seems to be in tune enough for me. Can’t wait to take it out this spring. Not many videos about the Cz3d online either, so I may be posting some videos of my first hunts when the ground thaws out.

I also ended up getting a sun ray probe but its extremely heavy to run the detector housing on the shaft with the probe mounted on.

If you are happy with it as is I would not send it in.

Congrats on the CZ. What RichW said, if it's all right for ya, do not change it.
About the sun ray probe, will it balance better if it's mounted below the armrest?

That's where I had it, but it just seems like there's no way I could swing that for more than an hour without my arm hurting. If I had a way to hip mount the sunray probe, that would be the way to do it. I will be trying to hunt with it though just because I really like the idea of the sun ray probe.
