Just got back in from a short hunt

The iron in this field is so bad every swing of the coil picks up a signal or multiple signals. I used my flat button set up but I rejected -6 to -10. I decreased sensitivity from 16 to 13 . What I like about this set up is the low tone jumps out at you. I found some of the deeper low tones read up to -5 on the meter. These turned out to be small non ferrous targets. One was a flat button. I dug 5 flats and 2 musket balls and a gun sight. No iron was dug. The detector resets itself really fast from the null point. When I pinpointed the low tone signals some had other targets very near. I will pickup an 11 " round Tesoro loop cover. The cut soy bean was very annoying. A good first day at a difficult well hunted site.
