Hello just recieved in the last few days my new x-terra 70!...
I have been reading all the mags that I can find and also all the posts on the net.
I believe I may have made an EXCELLENT choice!
From what I have read this seems to be a good all round machine .I also have the elliptical 10x5 HF.
My primary goal is to go over some of the abandoned gold mines here in adelaide South Australia.
I have read many B.T posts and magazine remarks about the Terra 70 is my reason for choosing this machine.
Does anyone in Adelaide,or South Australia have any info of sites to
prospect?..Or perhaps a contact, maybe a club?

G'day John.
If you can get onto the Treasure Enterprises website, if you click on the prospecting info that he has, you will find a very extensive listing for the whole country. You'll be reading for a few hours.
His web address is at the bottom of the add in the Gem and Treasure mag. Out of respect to the advertisers here, I haven't included it as a direct link here.
Good luck.
Mick Evans.

G,day John. The 70s a good solid little performer which you should end up loving. I went out last friday and picked up 14 pieces for a bit over 1/4 oz.
Today I got 1 bit which I was hoping the wind wouldnt blow away before I put it in the container. It can take a little getting used to, getting to know it, but when you do the little sucker sings to you.
Good luck.

The best advice I can give is to get out there and turn your machine on. The 70 is a user friendly detector which you will appreciate the more you use it. Prospect mode is the bomb! Its sharp, crisp and sensitive. You wanna know something? For the $$ you really did buy a great machine but like most things the more you put into it the more your gonna get out of it. Welcome to the HAPPY club! All the best with your treasure hunts!
Cheers!
