Mine will be here around 5pm. I will mess about in the yard tonight. I should be able to get out first thing in the morning to a good spot.

Keep us posted about what your impressions are and what you dig up. HH, Tim

Are zinc pennies typically coming in at 78 on this detector?---Which would put them in the 70-79 VCO range so they wouldn't "high tone" when the disc is set up like this.-----I just don't like the idea of zincs high toning with the other high conductors.

Disc 79 makes 70-79 vco. But then of course everything below 70 is gone.

Remember though, those IH pennies fall into the same catagory as Zinc pennies do alot or most of the time. I am not sure about those Flying eagle cents but if you look at the manual you will notice this was designed around a circuit for modern foreign coins that are of the same conductivity as our zinc pennies but are a larger denomination in their money system so that those would not be discriminated out. This is becoming a very interesting machine and what i mean by that is you seem to get alot of machine for the money, the only down side and the reason i wont be buying one is i hate 'S' shaped shafts and i am more than happy shooting my T2 from the hip,but another thing that is unusual is that i think i am right in saying that this machine was designed for the European market and hence this is why they have called it the Eurotek Pro but most of the buyer seems to be from North America and no one as i have heard over here in the UK has bought one yet.
