Just had a thought...(yeah I get them now and again)

I once had a lady who was into 'Mother Earth' who wanted to go mushroom hunting. She made a comment that she had to take some things with her. She said that whenever one takes something from Mother Nature one should replace it with something. Guess she figured to keep Mother Earth happy one had to not steal from her but an exchange is ok. So here we are - in her way of thinking -stealing from Mother Nature by removing coins and jewelry and not putting something back to replace it.

I honestly think she believed Mother Nature would 'get even' with us if we did not give for getting.

The things people believe in.

So my thought...wonder what one would think if we put a watermelon seed in each one of our holes.

I'm just kidding around here. Not trying to appease 'Mother Nature' but just imagining what the place would look like. Ever see how those vines sprawl out all over the place? Picture that going on in your local park...sure would cut down on other detectorists coming in behind ya to take out what ya missed.

Can't remember now if she said it was Mother Nature or Mother Earth. Either way they need to know God.

it's a cave on top of a mountain on the Indian reservation that people climb up to. A hard climb but most people can make it. Y ou are supposed to leave something there for the Indian's god who lives there. I have not been there but people tell me there's all kinds of things left. steve in so az

who takes grass seed, and a bottle of water to put in the spots he knows will go dead due to dry weather and such! The watermellon vines would never grow if in a yard, they would get mowed over! :)
