At our club hunt, there will be a precision hunt. I tell you it will be a taugh one. There will be 10 burried objects and you'll have to guess what is burried under each numbered hole. The most accurate will win the lot. That's only one of the hunts we'll have of course!

start practicing ! more infor on our club web site : www.quebecdetection.com

That will be tough. Lead sinkers and gold rings sound a lot alike with the P.I. How can you tell between a silver ring and a silver dime? I assume no LCD's or discriminators allowed!

Well to be honest, i guess luck will be a good part of it... That will leave some chances for the guys with more basic detectors. If you ask me, maybe an explorer will Id half of the finds and the rest will be luck... for the more basic detectors... hummm well luck is luck :)

That's a very interesting test indeed. I believe that using my Excalibur with it's variable tones and the way I know the machine, that I would do very well on that. But I don't think anybody will get better than 80% accuracy unless they have the opportunity to practice with those very targets. Because some of those will be too close to call.

The only thing certain is that SOMEBODY will win. :)
