yeah it's the usual story 
i find when i research a potential hot spot for a few weeks the weekend i plan to hunt it it rains.
it's almost getting to hot to land detect now i hit a park for two hours yesterday & i started to feel a bit stuffed so i went home & sat in front of the air con
which was much better.
