Well I pulled the trigger and ordered the 15x12 sef coil for my vaquero.
As soon as it gets here, which will be awhile due to it being on back order, I will let everyone know how it works out.
I have high hopes that it will be great. Everyone that has the sef coils on other machines seem to love them. I hope the same is true on the Vaquero. If anyone has any info on this coil please share, thanks.

I'll be very interested on how you make out i 've had the 12 x 10 and liked mine very much just couldn't run my threshold beyond 2:00 o'clock position without losing alot of disc and then dug some pretty deep iron

I own 10/12 sef coil, and im not impressed.Lack of stability. 13" ultimate is much much better than sef coil

Had to cancel my order due to coil being back ordered for what could be months. Ended up ordering the 13" ultimate for my G2 that has been gathering dust since i got the vaquero, im hoping that will breath some life back into the g2.

One of the members in our club bought the 13" Ultimate for his T2 and he swears it's the best thing since sliced bread. I think you will be very pleasantly surprised by the Ultimate.

The reason I say this is I received the Ultimate a couple of days ago for my Tejon. And in the depth tests, pinpointing there was a very marked improvement over the standard coil. Yesterday was the first time I was able to use it due to snow etc.

BTW, the 15"x 12" SEF is very easy to get second hand in the U.K. there are lots of them for sale as far as I can gather. It doesn't seem to be a popular coil for some reason.

Davy.
