Your going to love both of them too. X1 probe is one of those don't leave home without, you have one of those deep hard to find targets, just switch to pin point on the Explorer, an you can pin point it out, the same with a pockett spill were it's all over the hole. Swingy thing is a life saver too, just be sure and wear a heavy thick belt, so it doens't want to slip off. It will let you hunt for hours too. Just remember not to snap it in the center of your pants, it will give you a wedgie.

Id say they were questioning the amount of space based on a lower rod mount. Just mount it on the battery pack and it should be out of your way. Ive got mine in for repair and im dieing here using hand held with limited distance. Takes forever to find the target and i get EMI for the handheld so i have to move the coil away from me. Takes me back to the days when you have to run a hand full of dirt across the coil to find the target.
