[attachment 19825 sdmisc06b.gif]well i took my explorer too the beach today. i got a few good signals but when i went too dig there was ice under the sand.so i gave up till the weather warms up a bit.i really think im goin have fun with this machine.its goin take awhile too get use too it tho. but im goin love it .

Been really cold. The few times I've hit the beach, it's been sanded in big time. No targets, not even junk. We need a good Nor'easter and some warm weather You're gonna LOVE the Exp at the beach. Be prepared to dig some deep holes though

could you tell me if the ice in the sand would screw my readings up.

Nope... the ice won't mess up the readings. Many people hunt sledding hills / ski slopes during the winter to find stuff in the snow.
