JW Fisher Pulse 8X vs. Gp Exteme?

The JW Fisher 8x is advertising a 6ft deep detection area. Anybody compared this to a GP Extreme on on say a quater. 6 feet seems really deep, is this accurate?
 
That's very interesting,I haven't seen or heard anything about this! Is this advertised as a Gold machine? Nothing about it in the latest "Gold prospector" magazine, but then, ther'e like two months behind real time! I just mentioned your post on Doc's forum, come up there and enlighten us on this,where was this ad?

The J. W. Fisher Pulse 8X was designed for diving. If I recall correctly the pulse delay minimum was around 30uS. at it
