heres a demo of my deep relic program with the tx on 3 and sens 93, I got called out about my comments on depth of the deus on another forum. NOTICE ITS A 9 INCH COIL.

you are something else Calabash man... thanks for doing these for all of us. I've had mine for 3 years and have it set up basically like yours and i do pretty darn good with the 11" coil. now that i don't think that the new Deus coils are what i can use i think i'll try a 9" coil for those heavy iron spots.
Here's my main problem and see if you ever have it and have figured out a way around it. If i have disc at 2 and notch at 97-99 i still get bad iron wrap around. i get the high pitched squeak that i have to go over to determine that it's iron and not a good squeak. it drives me crazy sometimes. If I go with no disc i hear so much iron noise that i get audio tone overload in my brain and i can't do it for long. have any ideas on that?
thanks, gene

12k
1 or 2 or sometimes 0 on disc if there isn't too much iron
tx3
audio vol 4
sens 90 to 93 if i can get away with it at 93
iron vol 2 or sometimes 0
full tones
react 2 or 3 depending on how trashy it is
silencer at 0 usually

sometimes these settings just drive me crazy with the iron chirpping a lot. i've tried lowering the sens or raising the silencer, or increasing or lowering the react... not all these at the same time tho, just to see if i could get it to not do that iron wrap around chirp. if i do disc at 0 i don't hear the iron wrap around as much but then i hear it like a machine gun with all the signals and i go into audio overload in my brain...

when you get into thick iron lower tx to 2 or 1 and raise reactivity to 3 or 4 . It still wont help the machine gun effect though. I tried a disc of 5 on a site thats loaded with iron and it did pretty well and quited it down some too found a couple targets I missed too. I run a disc of 1 one my deep program and 0 on my trash program but did bump it to 5 on the trash program and tried it. I would say a disc of 5 might help in the thick iron give it a try and see what you think ,of course if your trying to locate a sight I wouldnt advise that but if you already know where it is it should be just fine. I guess im just used to the noise but after awhile it does get to you . I dont know if that helps but I tried hh
