General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Kellyco issues...

I'm new to the forum, so please let me know if I'm out of line on this. I ordered an MXT Pro and a few other items from Kellyco a week or so ago and was told that they would have a shipment of Pro's in on the 10th. I called today and they had no idea when they would be getting them in. I'm a pretty patient guy, but I still like to get a good estimate of when to expect my gear to ship. Has anybody here had similar experiences with Kellyco? The seem like a good company and have a pretty good reputation, but I'm starting to wonder. HH Shawn
 
Hi Shawn, Yes I've had a few major problems with them. Send shipping was only 1. So now even tho they're just 60 to 65 mi. north of me I still go back to :whites:. depending on where you live. I'm down on lake Okeechobee and Whites are in extreme north FL from me. you can't get better service anywhere.
JMHO. Where are you lopcated Shawn? (if you don't mind telling me) And they do get most problems ironed out ASAP. GL with whichever you do. Sorry to see your having problems getting one. Please don't take it out on tthe MXT tho. Call 1-8oo-547-6911, ASK for John Colllins, or the other guy I think his name

If you don't want to wait, I would advise buying something that is'nt on backorder. Great company, but I had to wait a month to get my Ace 250.
 
I ordered my Mxt at the same time. They said they were on back order, but they were getting them in the next day 4 days later my mxt was at my front door step! That was, however my first transaction with them.
 
im having problems with them , i asked if they would match another dealer's price and they said they would i live in fl and wanted my seahunter new & now so i bought from them , when it came the lower rod was missing and their is scratch's on the bottom coil running noth and south none of these scratch's are east to west , the knob to connect the coil wire is hard to get on(turning it) it seems to be having falseing issues where it continuseously rings then stops when their is not target it just does it, the machine has some real light scratch's on it, to me the unit was a return from someone else or was somekind of floor model , i dont think it was ever used out in the field, i asked about the scratch's on the machine they told me must have happened in shipping , also if i was unhappy they said send it back but if they think nothing is wrong they wouldnt take it back in other words i couldnt return it , im upset with them waiting to see how this is gonna play out , as of right now i would never buy anything from them again, just on the fact you cant return a brand unused item back to them , they advertise on returns their is a restocking fee & they told me if they thought their was nothing wrong they wouldnt take it back, my experience so far with them MORE TO COME , john
