Kellyco Orders

I was told by Kellyco rep, that all preorders will go out tomorrow and ship out of their Tennessee warehouse.

This is just what I was told.

Has anyone gotten a tracking # or any shipping info? I preordered/prepayed for mine the begining of March and haven't heard anything.

Kellyco in the past doesn't update shipments of pre-orders, I know with recent releases they just showed up on your doorstep.

the internet has made a lot of dealers lazy and its become a very impersonal place despite what they say watch what they do..

I vote with my pocket book.

Kellyco just sent me my FedEx tracking number for my Impact. I am hoping it is 2 day delivery.

maybe dealers are paying attention to these posts and providing the service U can expect for these high dollar purchase's

What day did you preorder the Impact

The second day after the announcement. I think it was Feb 22nd.

Just got my tracking number via email from Kellyco.
I specified (and paid for) ground shipping when I ordered on Feb. 20.
Mine is coming via Fedex ground home delivery, estimated to be on Tuesday, April 25.
Those who live closer than California to Kellyco might get theirs sooner, or if they
paid for more rapid delivery.

Notice that the point of origin is Knoxville, Tennessee. (Mine was, anyway.)
So that's even better for you in Kentucky than Florida would be (Kellyco's HQ).

I ordered a probe from Kellyco a month ago.I live in Indiana. Got it the next day.

This would make it 2 day shipping up to ND and sent by Fed Ex which would be fast, sure glad it wasn't UPS as they take 5 business day and they don't count weekends.
Mine was ordered about the middle of February the day they started taking pre orders.

Just hope I made the right decision on getting one right away, but I guess that is the only way to see if it will work for me.

The upside, unlike previous detectors, is if they find better programming you can just download and update via your computer. So not so much worry in early units.

For those who might be considering a move to acquire a new and very versatile and functional metal detector ... DO consider the Nokta IMPact.

For those who already preordered and are awaiting the arrival of your pre-ordered device, or you get one in the near future ... Don't be IMPatient.

Take the time to read, completely, the User Manual. Devote the time to get very familiar with the detector's search modes and adjustment features. Then share an ample amount of time afield with this new friend to learn the strengths and weaknesses and know how to get the most out of the Impact. There is no such thing as a 'perfect' metal detector, but the Impact is certainly in the upper class of those that are among the best detectors available today for all-purpose performance.

Sadly, I have seen too many people get into this great sport who might spend a lot of money to buy and sell detectors in rapid succession, and they are even fortunate to have or take a lot of time to get out detecting ... BUT, while they might have money and time on their side, they lack patience. Being impatient will slow you down if learning a detector as well as achieving success afield, so relax and learn and enjoy this unit.

Each and every unit that makes up my Regular-Use Detector Team, even having acquiring an additional FORS CoRe and FORS Relic to have different coils mounted for different needs at a site, are there because I wasn't impatient. The new Impact has impressed me so much, that I already decided to add another Impact to my personal-use detector battery to have them each equipped with different coils for a quick 'grab-and-go' when I get to a detecting site. These detectors, fitted with the right coils for the tasks I encounter, all provide me with what I want and what I need for the challenging sites I like to hunt, and they made-the-grade after I was patient enough to use them and compare them so that they could prove their abilities to me.

I complement those who have already put faith in how well this company treats the consumers and is committed to providing us some of the most thought-out and engineered equipment in the industry today and you ordered the new Impact. I look forward to all the posters comments as they put in the time to use and learn this versatile detector. Best of success to you all!

Well said Monte, looking forward to learning and using the Impact at the old iron infested sites here in upstate New York....

The delivery date was changed to Monday the 24th as it is still at the shipping center in TN. After sitting there for 2 day it was shown they couldn't read the bar code on the shipping label, hope no one else s is sitting there too.

Was going to be a nice weekend, but maybe I should read the copy of the owners manual again and be ready to go after monday unless something else happens like with my luck it will fall out of the truck and gets run over.

Good luck to those that got theirs today and let us know what you really think about them and what you are finding on your first time out.

Our club meeting was tonite and was going to show it off, but will have to learn it more and be ready for our open hunt later on in May and really show it off.

Rick

I agree this machine has a different language different sound when hunting with mixed iron you have to get use to it...and the programs do change the machine and settings but some are not just different settings some have been programed in the software to do different things that you can't change but make a difference in different hunting areas...
