Kentucky water hunting

budster

Member
Being a recent Washington state transplant there seems to be a decided lack of water hunting opportunities in Kentucky. Am I missing something? Where and what type of water bodies do you native Kentuckians hunt, and :shrug:can I get my water hunting fix eased?

Kentucky is full of an assortment of creeks, rivers, and lakes. Where in Kentucky do you live?

I live in the Bagdad area. What I was looking for were some swimming holes. Did find one old one, but am waiting for the water to go down a bit. I don't miss much about Washington state, except the clean lakes and rivers. There is a new Minelab dealer close by, and she has a rather extensive display that she detected in dry seasonal streams. Might have to give that a try.
